Sinopsis:

Drive, galardonada y nominada alrededor del mundo.

Driver (Ryan Gosling), un hombre solitario por naturaleza, un personaje del mundo bajo que por las noches realiza robos a mano armada y por el día trabaja como doble en películas de acción como conductor de autos.

Driver cree ser perseguido por una bolsa de dinero que lleva en su cajuela, por un grupo de mortales criminales (Albert Brooks y Ron Perlman). Después se da cuenta de que los gánsters lo persiguen por algo más que eso. Las cosas se salen de control, él se encuentra a sí mismo conduciendo en defensa de la chica de quien se ha enamorado, Irene (Carey Mulligan), una vulnerable joven madre que se ha sumergido en los peligros del bajo mundo cuando regresa su marido, un ex convicto llamado Standard (Oscar Isaac).
